GTrans will Return to Front Door Boarding on July 1, 2021.
Please Pay Your Fare!
Beginning on Thursday, July, 1, 2021 GTrans will return to front door boarding on its buses. We are collecting fares. Please remember to have the correct fare when you board.
Last year, GTrans stopped enforcing fare collection to help bus operators and customers maintain a safe physical distance onboard the bus. Bus operator barriers have been installed on most buses that allow customers to approach the farebox while maintaining safety.
Pay attention to signage and follow the bus operator’s directions. Face masks must cover your mouth and nose any time you are in our buses. Not wearing your mask on board the bus is a federal offense.
You can now use your phone or Apple Watch as a TAP card. Learn more at taptogo.net. Fares can also be purchased online at taptogo.net. And, beginning June 29, 2021, with the reopening of the GTrans Administrative Facility to the public, you can also load your TAP card in person at our Customer Service Desk.
Reduced fares are available for students, seniors, persons with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders. Eligibility requirements and applications are available at www.taptogo.net/reduced_fare.
