Don’t miss out on fare discounts offered through TAP programs like reduced fares for low-income individuals, seniors, persons with disabilities, and students! Additionally, LA Metro is testing fare capping through TAP for its service which charges you the fare until you reach the daily or weekly cap. GTrans does not have fare capping. The fare will remain at $1 a ride; however, this is a great benefit for those that connect from a Metro bus to GTrans on a frequent basis. Additionally, a TAP card is required to transfer.

TAP cards can also be registered online and have balance protection meaning you can replace a lost or stolen card with its remaining balance!
