GTrans currently operates Line 7X between the Harbor Gateway Transit Center Park & Ride and SoFi Stadium every Sunday. This published fixed-route transit service is open to the general public and operates at GTrans’ regular fares. Roundtrip fares are collected upon boarding at Harbor Gateway using GTrans’ base fare of $1.00, plus its regular fare of $1.00 per one-way trip, for a total roundtrip fare of $4.00. The service currently operates year-round on a fixed schedule from 8:30 AM to 8:07 PM each Sunday.
Beginning with the upcoming NFL season, GTrans wishes to modify the operation of this public transit service to better align with the general transportation needs occurring at SoFi Stadium during the NFL season. GTrans intends to operate this service only on game days, during the period between August and February, aligned with the NFL season, including pre and post-season events. All fares will remain at GTrans’ regular fares, and services will continue to be published and open to the general public.
If approved, Line 7X would transition from a fixed Sunday schedule to a game-day operating schedule. On eligible game days, service would begin approximately three (3) hours prior to the start of the game and continue until one and one-half (1.5) hours following the conclusion of the game, replacing the current fixed operating hours of 8:30 AM to 8:07 PM. This proposed operating plan is intended to better match service levels with customer demand while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of transit service provided to SoFi Stadium.

GTrans is also evaluating the feasibility of continuing Line 7X service on additional game days such as Mondays and Thursdays during the NFL season and other major events held at SoFi stadium. Final recommendations for this service will be made based on public input and operational feasibility, with final approval by the Gardena City Council per the public participation process as outlined under GTrans’ Major Service Change Policy.
