TAP Card

Tap Card in Action

The TAP card is a reusable, electronic farecard that makes paying your GTrans fares easy, convenient and secure. Here’s how it works:

  1. Purchase a TAP card by visiting our transit office, visiting any Metro Rail station, calling (866) TAP-TOGO (827-8646) or visiting taptogo.net
  2. Load your TAP card up with cash value or an EZ transit pass
  3. Each time you board your bus, simply tap your card on the farebox, listen for the beep, and go – the correct fare will be deducted automatically

You can even Balance Protect your TAP card to recover your money in case your card is ever lost or stolen!

A senior, person with a disability, and student can apply for a Reduced Fare TAP Card.

To learn more, or to request your card now, visit taptogo.net.
