Upcoming Service Changes (July 20, 2025)

Effective July 20, 2025, GTrans will adopt system service changes to meet customer demand and improve service reliability.


Line 1X – Adjustments to Weekday Running Times to Improve On-Time Performance

GTrans adopted minor schedule adjustments during weekday periods to improve on-time performance and overall service.


Line 2 – Adjustments to Weekday Running Times

Effective May 4, 2025, GTrans adopted minor schedule adjustments during weekdays in an effort to improve on-time performance and overall service. Line 2 operates every 20 minutes, replacing the previous 15-minute frequency.

These modifications aim to provide a more consistent and dependable service for our customers.


Line 4 – Operates Only on School Days

No schedule changes. As a reminder, Line 4 is a one-way trip service, available only when school is in session, and is open to all riders. This line will not operate from July 20 through August 14. Timetables and schedules are still included in this update for reference, as regular service will resume when school is back in session starting August 14.


Line 5 – Service Transition the new LAX/Metro Transit Center

Effective Friday, June 6, 2025, GTrans started serving the new LAX/Metro Transit Center (MTC), providing a direct connection to LAX, via a free airport shuttle departing from the station. This station offers quicker, more seamless airport access—eliminating the need to navigate traffic or parking. There are no schedule changes.
