Over the past several weeks, GTrans service has been significantly impacted by a shortage of bus operators. As a result, some routes have experienced delays and temporary cancellations. We sincerely apologize to our valued riders for the inconvenience and frustration these disruptions may have caused. We deeply regret falling short of the reliable service our community expects and deserves.
To help ease the burden on customers during this period, GTrans temporarily waived fares for all riders from April 11 through April 30, 2025.
As part of our ongoing efforts to address these challenges and improve service reliability, GTrans will implement service changes to Line 2, effective May 4, 2025. These changes are intended to better align service levels with current operator availability and respond more effectively to rider demand. Please see below for details regarding the adjustments.
To enhance reliability and improve on-time performance, GTrans will implement minor adjustments to the weekday schedule for Line 2.
Line 2 will operate every 20 minutes, replacing the previous 15-minute frequency.
These modifications aim to provide a more consistent and dependable service for our customers.
